Meet The Team
Gregg Berman
Co-Owner
Gregg is a graduate of Bradley University with a bachelor’s degree in Science and Construction Management. He brings 20+ years of construction management at both the General Contractor and Ownership level. He has completed Ground Up as well as Commercial Interior projects throughout the Chicago Metropolitan area. His construction career began as a Project Manager with Turner Construction where he completed projects for major clients, such as: Baxter Pharmaceuticals, Verizon, and O’Hare Airport Terminals 2 and 3. Gregg was also a Director of Facilities for Coldwell Banker that included 180 locations throughout the Midwest. He was also a partner with another general contractor before starting CrossTown Design Build in 2017.
Frank Nichols
Co-Owner
Frank is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin with Degree in Construction Administration. He brings over 30 years of expertise in the commercial construction industry that include management of the Business Operations, Business Development, Strategic Planning, as well as Mentoring and Training of personnel. He has worked on projects in the Chicago Metropolitan area, as well as out of State projects. Frank has experience in many different sectors of the industry including Commercial Interiors, Ground Up Construction, Retail, Hospitality, Country Clubs, Institutional, Industrial as well as Healthcare. Prior to joining CrossTown Design Build in 2019, Frank worked for a mid-size General Contractor in Chicago as the Vice President of Operations for 17 years as well as his own company for 12 years.
